Dietary Restrictions
Unfortunately, We do not offer Vegan or Dairy Free tea services. We are a small tearoom with a small kitchen. All dietary requests and Gluten Free Upgrades must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Same day substitutions will be charged a fee of $3 per request if accommodated.
Timing
Our experiences are curated to their stated tea times. Late arrivals can shorten a service if a party is booked after yours.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our small business size and the high impact of last-minute cancellations, we have a strict policy in place for bookings. Please note that cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation date will incur a 20% fee. For same-day cancellations, a 50% fee will apply, … private parties we ask for a final guest count within 7 days of service and a confirmation of the booking.
Payment & Gratuity
Credit Card Information will be taken to secure your booking. We do NOT CHARGE this card except for No Shows. Your Tea host will deliver a bill at the end of your service to signal our next guests are arriving. Gratuities are highly appreciated by our staff as they are not included in the listed price. Parties with 5 or more guests will have a 20% gratuity included in thier final bill.
Guest Count
All attending guests must be accounted for with making your reservations to ensure ample seating and table size, this includes sharing children. Your Sharing Children will not be billed if they do not take Tea. Any unannounced guests will be charged a $15 sitting fee.
Children
We absolutely love hosting children and *Children Under 5 can share with a dining adult (1 child per1 adult ). Children over 5 years of age will be served/billed for a full service.
Important Notes
- • Our Prospect Heights Patio is covered. We have heaters/fans but we ask that guests dress according to the weather we can not guarantee an alternate INDOOR table will be available. If you do not want to sit outside. Please make your INDOOR reservations accordingly.
- • BKHL allows reservations up to 60 days in advance, 90 days if made with the host while taking tea in Person.
- • Text us for Private Party inquiries. 14 or more guests require a private booking for up to 20 guest, Over 20 Guests would be a Full Venue Rental.
- • We DO NOT Sell / Serve champagne but will provide Vintage barware for BYOBubbly upon request.
